Born in a middle class Muslim family with only a tender dream to sing, no one, not even Mohd Rafi himself would have thought about the glorious years to come and about the magic he would create for millions around him. At a young age, he moved to Lahore to train with Ghulam Ali Khan and learnt a lot from his teacher about Indian classical music.
