I am Mohd Rafi fan since childhood. It was the day when I was unaware of Mohd Rafi; I just use to recognize him by his voice. I use to wonder what a remarkable voice Almighty has bestowed on this individual. I was in senior kg when I first heard Mohd Rafi Saheb immortal number Aaj purani rahon se koi mujhe awaaj na do a song picturised on thespian Dilip Kumar.

Since then no other singer’s voice filled my heart with joy like Rafi Saheb’s voice did. His song like Ai Gul Badan Phoolon Ki Mahak Kanton Ki Chubhan, Mein Zindagi Kaa Saath Nibhata Chala Gaya from film Hum dono, Dil Kaa Bhanwar Kare Pukaar and many other incredible unforgettable songs.

May it be sad songs or joyful songs Rafi Saheb delighted all of us with his magical voice. It is a great tragedy that the singer has perished but not before living behind his immortal songs. Rafi Saheb is not on this mortal world but his songs has made him immortal forever.
