    muhammed parvez ji,

its your simplicity that you say you are one amongst the crores of fans of Rafi sahab’s fans. it clearly indicates you are a ‘ true’ rafian as you are inheriting this greatest quality of ‘modesty’ of rafi sahab.

you are sending so many songs of rafi sahab which i am down loading.

hats off to you my dear friend.

  2. A S MURTY says:

Ref post 46 by Mr. vikas sharma and reply by mr mohd parvez. I fully agree with mr vikas that mr parvez is doing more than anyone else in sending the songs to all rafi sahab’s fans and what a treasure he has. i have also received all the songs sent by him till date and keep getting them almost every day. there are others too who have lent me unknown and rare songs and some songs that i had desperately wanted. one of them is mr sajjad qadir and one more is mr hussain sheikh. they too have sent me songs that i had been looking for during the last several years. One such song – aye mussavir teri tasvir banaoon kaise – from the film insaan our insaan, a 1970 film is a gem of a piece and i got it from mr hussain sheikh. mr qadir too has sent me several songs. i thank the three of them for all the good work they have been doing. I also know of people who would not like to share their collection with others, but these three are exceptional. So also Mr. narayanan from bangalore has given me some rare songs. True rafians indeed, all of you. asmurty2@rediffmail.com

Thank you Ms. Roohi for the information you have provided in post #44. It’s good to know that Dilip Kumar recognizes the greatness of our idol Rafi saheb and is appreciative of his contributions. Thanks,

I HAVE NO HESITATION IN SAYING THAT THE GREATEST RAFI SAHIB FAN THAT I HAVE COME ACROSS IN MY ENTIRE LIFE IS MOHAMMED PARVEZ SAHIB,COZ THE WAY IN WHICH HE HAS CONTRIBUTED IN POPULARIZING RAFI SAHIB’S REARLY HEARD SONGS ACROSS THE GLOBE IS JUST MINDBLOWING.HE IS HIGHLY DEDICATED AND HIS HARD EFFORTS ARE HIGHLY APPRECIABLE.

MOHAMMED PARVEZ SAHIB I SALUTE TO U.U ARE GREATEST RAFI SAHIB FAN.

    JAVED FAZAL BHAI,

thanx a lot for providing all the rafiaans with a wonderful site.
I WAS ALSO LOOKING FOR THE SITE HAVING A COLLECTION OF NUSRAT FATEH ALI KHAN SAHIB,AND THE SITE PROVIDED BY YOU HAS GOT ENORMOUS COLLECTION OF NUSRAT, KISHORE,RAFI SAHIB,LATA AND OTHER DISTINGUISHED ARTISTS LIKE GULAM ALI,PANKAJ UDAS,JAGJIT SINGH.
I REALLY APPRECIATE UR CONCERN THANX A LOT.

  7. Ruhi Khan says:

Yes Mr Mansoor, Yusuf Saab was approached many times and is still on top of our wishlist. I have personally spoken with Sairajee, she liked the idea very much but could not give any committment or date owing to Dilip Saabs health and reluctance to travel. I am reproducing below extracts of a letter dt 8th July, to our Circle. which expresses the sentiments of Dilip Kumar on Rafi Saab.

Quote : Dear Madam,….this bears reference to your letter dated 20th June, 05 inviting Mr & Mrs Dilip Kumar for a grand nostalgic, musical function to be held in Kolkata on 31st July, 05 which marks the 25th Silver Jubilee Death Anniversary of the great singer Mohd Rafi Sahab…. Needless to say Dilip Sahab was closely associated with the late singer who had lent his golden voice in many of his classics. Rafi Sahab’s golden inimitable voice will live forever and enhance our lives with his unforgettable music. There never will be a substitute for Mohammed Rafi. Dilip Sahab desires me to convey his thanks to you for your kind invitation and regrets his inability to attend the function which promises to be such a beatiful evening with the organisers of Rafi Lovers Circle. He sends his prayers and good wishes to you and to the entire team who are actively associated and involved with the Circle… signed by Hygino D’costa Secretary………..Unquote

Mr Binu Nair I was happy to learn that you and Mr Narayanan were in Calicut to join Mr Ahmad Bhai’s 74th Birthday celebration. Ahmad Bhai relationship with Rafi Saab is known to all associated with this site, On behalf of all members of Rafi Lovers Circle, I wish him good health so that the spirit to keep the work of The Foundation’s Kerala Chapter is productive and exemplary for other units in other cities.

Mr Vikas, your apology well taken. Rome was not built in a day. We started only 10years back and in this period, we have felicitated 8 Rafi Sahab’s industry contemporaries. Rafi Sahab’s timeless collection spans almost 4 decades, each gem in his treasury was built year by year…If you are a true Rafi fan, take a pledge today that you will always smile and have good things to say to all. As you go up in life, shake hands with all as you go up the ladder of success. God forbid if tomorrow destiny compels you go down then the downhill journey will be softer as all those whose hearts you touched will help you along. Just listen to a classic from the film Vardaan…Kuch log yahan par aise hai, you will then perhaps agree with me.

  8. vikas sharma says:

i bow (charan pakdta hu)in front of all sharda fans, whom i dont like at all and will continue to have same viewpoint till my last breath .

But i love, admire, worship the great rafi sahib.i have been his fan from my childhood and will always be his follower.

Reference to post #36 by Ruhi Khan

Ms. Roohi you mentioned that in the past your organization honored the likes of Pradeep Kumar, Shammi Kapooer, Dharmendra, Biswajit, Rishi Kapoor, etc. Rafi saheb brought lot of fame to among others, Dilip Kumar. I am curious to know was dilip kumar ever asked to come? If yes, what was his response? Most artists of his (Rafi) time have kind words and praises for our beloved Rafi saheb, but I don’t hear much attributed to Dilip Kumar, whose films were further glorified by Rafi’s songs. Comments by any one?

I was on a brief holiday hence the delay in writing. By the way
the kerala chapter of the rafi foundation was informally formed during
    my visit to kerala.
mr. ahmed bhai – close friend of rafi saab is the chairman of the
kerala unit. mr.narayan our co-founder also flew in to calicut on
    nov. 13 for the discussions.
It was also ahmed bhais 74th birthday which was marked and
    attended by many rafi lovers…

ruhi ji.. please keep up the good work.. and thankyou.

    Good effort!

  12. A S MURTY says:

Mrs. Ruhi Khan. Pls accept my apologies for the comments of my fellow rafians which should not have been aired in the first place and which are deregotary to other artistes. You have done indeed a yeomen’s service by conferring the award to Sharada, one of our all time great singers of a musical era which now no longer exists. This should not dissuade the great work that is being done in Kolkata by you and your organisation. We really appreciate all that is being done by various music lovers throughout the country to keep alive the magic of yesteryear music, which was of the highest standards. I also recall an incident just two days back. One article had appeared in another website reporting the purported rift (short lived though) between the two legends – rafi sahab and lataji. I emailed that article to a host of people for their information. But one of my dear friends did not like the way the article was written and asked me to convey to its author to stop writing such mudslinging articles on the great lataji or any artistes, just while praising rafi sahab in the same breath. He went on to add that the rafi fans are doing excellent work on the web as also separately and such articles would only sully the good image that has been built up so painstakingly by the few ardent fans of rafi sahab. I agreed with my friend and immediately apologised for having emailed the article to him and to many more people not realising the harm it does to the name of rafi sahab. I therefore agree with your view points and also appeal to co-rafians to refrain from passing disparaging comments on other great artistes.

  13. vikas sharma says:

A SINCERE APOLOGY TO RUHI MAM,

MADAM I MYSELF IS A HUGE RAFI SAHIB FAN AND I M FROM JALANDHAR(PUNJAB) THE LAND OF RAFI SAHIB’S BIRTH.I M JUST 25 YRS OF AGE I CANT EVEN EXPRESS MY LOVE FOR RAFI SAHIB IN WORDS COZ I WENT THROUGH SOME HORRIFIC PHASE IN MY LIFE AND IT WAS RAFI SAHIB WHO GOT ME OUT OF TROUBLED TIMES THROUGH HIS UNIQUE AND EVER LASTING MAGIC.I AM A SINCERE LISTENER OF VIVID BHARTI RADIO AND ONCE ON THE OCCASION OF RAFI SAHIB’S DEATH ANNIVERSARY I WAS LISTENING TO A SPECIAL PROGRAM FROM MR.YOUNIS KHAN DEDICATED TO RAFI SAHIB, I GOT SO EMOTIONALY INVOLVED THAT I WEPT FOR HOURS AND STOPPED AFTER I WAS CONSOLED BY AN ANOTHER GREAT RAFI SAHIB FAN.

MADAM I NO WAY I INTENDED TO HURT UR FEELING AND IF I HAVE DONE SO THAN I SINCERELY APOLOGISE FOR THAT.

MY ONLY POINT OF DISCUSSION WAS THAT IN MY VIEW THERE ARE NUMEROUS OTHER DIGNIFIED PERSONALITIES WHO SHOULD HAVE BEEN HONOURED FOR THERE ASSOCIATION WITH RAFI SAHIB THAT TOO A LONG TIME AGO LIKE RAVINDER JAIN SAHIB,PYARELAL JI,KAPOOR FAMILY,
BIG B,OR OTHER HUNDREDS OF PERSONALITIES.

HOWEVER I REALLY ADMIRE UR EFFORTS RUHI MAM FOR DOING SOMETHING REGARDING RAFI SAHIB.I DONT EVEN TRY TO HURT ANYONE WHO IS RAFI SAHIB FAN COZ I WORSHIPP HIM.

U COULD HAVE TAKEN MY CRITICIZM AS A HELTHY ONE AND WOULD HAVE DISCUSSED ABOUT YOU FUTURE PLANS REAGRDING THE HONOURING OF RAFI SAHIB ASSOCIATES.

MADAM I M A SMALL KID IN FRONT OF U SO PLZ FORGIVE ME IF I HURT UR SENTIMENTS .

  14. B.Venkatadri says:

    Vikas Sharma,

Overaction bahut kar rahen hai aap! Your posts would have been appreciated if you had politely told her that there are more deserving people living, to receive that award. In any case, she is asking for suggestions for future awrds under this banner.

People can, in fact, misunderstand you as belonging to the Lata/Asha lobby, if not the Kishore lobby!

    Venkat

  15. Ruhi Khan says:

My heartfelt appreciation and gratitude to Mr Steven and Mr Ganesh and many others for standing up and appreciating some passionate work being done by our circle, which is 100% focussed and dedicated to, not only his unparalleled work but also the persona and charisma surrounding the Magic Of Rafi Saab.

For the information of all, Rafi Lovers Circle was born on 31st July 1997. Our The endeavour has always been to conceive and execute stage programmes on different themes and flavours, each one interwoven around Rafi Saheb. Eg Tum Mujhe Yun Bhula Na Paoge, Golden Greats, Ek Shaam Rafi Sahab Ke Naam, Great Melody Makers, Yaad -E- Rafi etc. On Rafi Saheb’s 25 Anniversary,we started the Rafi Memorial Award in 2005 and conferred it on Music Director Ravi, In 2006 Music Director Omi of the Sonik Omi Team, who gave some memorable songs from Films like Dil Ne Phir Yaad Kiya, Sawan Bhadon, Mahua, Chowkidar, Beti, Dharma, Memsaab etc, and this year we honoured Sharda. In the past we have hononored an remembered stalwarts like Pradeep Kumar, Shammi Kapooer ,Dharmendra, Biswajit and Rishi Kapoor. All these artists personally came for our shows, exclusively presented for our members and guests only, under the Down Memory Lane series. We are in regular dialouge with Manna Dey, Mahendra Kapoor, Pyarelal, Anandjee Bhai and many others for our future felicitations.

Fan is a very mild expression. I hold my head high and say very proudly that my love for Rafi Saab will exceed any barometer limit which benchmarks the scale or intensity. I fail to understand that when Rafi saab himself had no issue or attitude towards any singer, male, female, then under what yardstick does anybody have the right to decide who should and who should not be discussed on this site.

To conclude this needless debate, a beautiful song comes to mind from the film Teen Chor, Music Director Sonik Omi ……… Man Ke Khazane Mein Maya Hi Maya, Jab Bhi Tu Chahe Isse Loot Le….Hari Om.

  16. Nitish Sinha says:

it is very easy to criticise anybody from here, writing rubbishes, instead praising the efforts of a person like ruhi jee who is just one of us rafians and who is doing a great job organising such events. easiesr it is to say that why mahendra kapoor, amitabh bachchan and so and so person why not awarded or felicited.
vikash bhai , just try once to organise just one event and you will you will came to know about the enormous difficulties.
and what is your problem with sharda jee? and what is your intention in declaring that mrs. rafi would have sung better? ok, you are free to say anything about sharda jee but dont dare put such remarks about respected mrs. rafi . through such comparision you are trying to made a mockry of her.
    so control your remarks.

  17. GANESH says:

Ms. Ruhi Don’t Worry Let Them Criticize and they will because they r KK fans and KK fans have no heart like Rafians.
as u know very well our old pharase
Kutta Bhooke Hazaar, Hathi Ghome Bazar-e-Bazaar.
Let them spit on the sky

  18. Steven says:

Hey Vicks, what is your problem man? Live and Let Live. If someone wants to do their bit, let them do. Don’t start criticizing and evaluating them. If we can’t do anything from our side, we are all no good, anywayz. At least we could give people a hand, who are doing something. Don’t act like a kishore fan!

Ruhi Mam, you are doing a good job. I salute you.

  19. vikas sharma says:

    dear ruhi khan,

actually u posted this article only because you wanted to present a type of a surprise element to all the rafiaans out there because they never have ever thought that any one would discuss about a below average singer like sharda that too singing with one and only one the immortal paigambar-e -mosikey janab rafi sahib.

the only co-singers who are noticed when rafi sahib sings a duet song with a female are the greatest singers lata mangeshkar and asha bhonsle and to talk about sharda’s co-singing or what u say assosiation speaks volumes about how great rafi fan you are.

EVEN ALISHA CHINOY,ALKA YAGNIK HAD A GREATEST OPPORTUNITY OF THIER LIFE TO SING WITH KISHORE DA IN SOME FILMS DO THAT MEAN WE START HONOURING THEM BECAUSE OF THEIR ASSOCATION WITH KISHORE DA .

  20. vikas sharma says:

Hey madam may i ask you some questions with due respect and appreciation for your efforts and love of rafi sahib.

. where are the people who have such a long association with rafi sahib are they being honored or remmembered by people like you.DO u have bothered to post their views regarding rafi sahib instead of discussing about a below average singer like sharda.

    1. have u hounored mahinder kapoor who was a disciple and a great associate of rafi sahib.
    2. what about pyarelal ji of the famous laxmikant-pyarelal duo

    3. what about the great ravinder jain sahib
    4.what about manna dey
    5.what about shammi kapoor,shashi kapoor,rishi kapoor,dharmendar,amitabh bachachan sahib.

6 i can provide the list of about 100 more well known personalities renowed world over would u honour each one of them coz they were associated with rafi sahib .

  21. Ruhi Khan says:

I am deeply hurt by the response posted by some persons spreading unwarranted malice in this site which is dedicated to Mohamed Rafi Sahab, who apart from being one of the icons of Hindustani Film Sangeet, as nominated by both Times of India and Hindusthan Times, was also the embodiment of perfect human being. Eversmiling, always had good things to say, never carried any mailce towards anyone no matter how big or small, he/she was. Was respected to such an extent that in any of the rare Filmi Parties he attended, at the insistence of someone like Naushad saheb, if any one holding a drink in hand saw him, they would hide the drink beneath the table and then greet Rafi Saheb.

In my opinion, the least we can do is to try to emulate Rafi Sahab and be a good person, an achha insaan. Sharda may not be a great singer, but she was there during Rafi Saab’s times and that is the only reason why we had chosen her for the Mohd Rafi Memorial Award 2007. Next year we will confer the Award to some other artist who was either Rafi Saab’s contemporary, or was associated with him in some way or the other, lyricist, music director, playback singer, or actor. We will be greatly saddened if this kind of response is received from even 0.01% of Rafians, Rafi lovers or just admirers of music and song.

Incidently, Kolkata is a city known for its cultural inclination. People here understand and appreciate music, not only of greats but also of others who are an integral part of the macro picture. The programme which was held at the prestigious Kalamandir Auditorium saw an audience of 1100, giving Sharda a standing ovation as she sang her songs, and complimented her for coming down to Kolkata to pay her respects and tribute to Rafi Saheb, 27 years after his departure.

  22. vikas sharma says:

EVEN RAFI SAHIB’S WIFE WOULD HAVE SUNG BETTER THAN SHARDA.

  23. vikas sharma says:

    AS A GREAT FAN OF MUSIC ESPECIALLY RAFI SAHIB,KISHORE KUMAR,MUKESH,LATA MANGESHKAR,ASHA BHONSLE,NUSRAT FATEH ALI KHAN,GULAM ALI,JAGJIT SINGH.

I THINK DISCUSSING RAFI SAHIB SINGING WITH SHARDA IS JUST REDICULOUS AND THE MOST MOCKING SORT OF A THINK.

    WHO IS SHARDA?

EVEN RAFI SAHIB’S WIFE WOULD HAVE SUNG BETTER THAN HER.
THIS IS THE MOST WORSE ARTICLE THAT I HAVE COME ACROSS.
WHO THE HELL IS SHARDA IN FRONT OF WORLD KNOWN STARS AND PERFORMERS.
SHAME ON WASTING SUCH A LARGE SPACE ON THIS WONDERFUL SITE DEDICATED TO RAFI SAHIB.

  24. Ruhi Khan says:

Thanks Mr B Venkatadari for the appreciation of the mohamed rafi memorial award function which is one of our annual events. Please suggest some names for next year. Shardajee, is active to this day and performs for her shows both in India and overseas. In all her shows, she dedicates the song kahan ja rahe hai to aai jane wale to the memory of Rafi Saheb, as per personal tribute. Since the show we held in Calcutta was titled Remembering Shankar Jaikishan with Sharda, she sang jeena yahan, marna jahan, as a tribute to SJ. .. Thats why these songs featured in the show.

In response to post no 22 of Mr Mohamed Pervez, please note my email id. rkhan812@gmail.com. Thank you very much Mr Pervez for expressing a desire to share your collection of Rafi Saab’s pictures and songs with me. All members of our rafi lovers circle will benefit from your kind gesture.

In response to Mr Prakash Shah’s post no 15, I would like to say that apart from ” hum ko to barbaad kiya hai ” there is another superb number sung by Rafi Sahab and Sharda ” Jigar Ka dard badhta jaa raha hai ” ( Film Street Singer )

  26. B.Venkatadri says:

My hearty congratulations, Ms. Ruhi Khan, for organizing the Rafi Memorial Awards function. Please continue the good work.

From the list of songs that you mentioned were sung by Sharada on that occasion, two songs might have been sung by her, though the originals were not by her. 1.’Kahan Jaa Raha Hai Tu Ae Jaane Wale’ from Seema (old) sung poignantly by Rafii Saab and 2.Jeena Yahan Marna Yahan (Mera Naam Joker) sung by Mukesh.

Just wanted to clarify as you included these two also in “Some of her popualr songs”.

    Venkat

  27. vikas sharma says:

SHARDA IS LUCKY TO SING ON THE SAME STAGE WHICH GRACED THE LIKES OF RAFI SAHIB AND LATA MANGESHKAR SIMILAR TO ALISHA CHINOY WHO HAD THE CHANCE TO SING WITH KISHORE DA IN MR.INDIA
“KATE NAHI KATTEY YEH DIN YEH RAAT”.
OTHERWISE SHE HAD NOT AT ALL A GOOD VOICE AND IT SOUNDED LIKE A SMALL GIRL WITH NOT FULLY DEVELOPED NASAL CHORDS SINGING RIGHT IN FRONT OF A PROFEESOR OF SINGING.

  28. vikas sharma says:

sharda singing with the immortal legend rafi sahib is similar to sachin tendulkar playing cricket with a street kid.

neither she knew how to sing nor she should have reached such a magnitude to sing on a stage which graced the likes of rafi sahib and lata mangeshkar.

  29. mohamed parvez says:

dear ruhi khan i would like to have ur emailaddress i would like to share my collection of rafisaabs pictures & songs with you

  30. A S MURTY says:

Wonderful Mrs. Ruhi Khan for posting the anecdote of Sharada during the programme. References like this one go on show how big man Rafi Sahab was and we know he had always encouraged upcoming talent. There was absolutely no ego clash or air about him and he treated co-artistes all alike and equal. I request other knowledgeable rafians to post such anecdotes on the website, however small they may be. We relish them all. Thanks once again.

  31. Ruhi Khan says:

    Correction.

    Mr Anmol Singh.

  32. Ruhi Khan says:

One anectedote stands out…. During the recording of my first song with Rafi Saheb, ( Jaane Chaman Shola Badan From Gumnaam ) I was very nervous and shy because I have been a big admirer of Rafi Saheb and here I was, going to sing with him. Rafi Sahab took me aside and told me to relax. Khul Ke Gao, if there is any mistake I will help you. These words gave me confidence and the song was recorded. Thereafter I have always considered Rafi Saheb as my Guru and his follow advice to sing freely. People like Rafi Saheb are divine souls and I am priviliged to have worked with him.

  33. Ruhi Khan says:

Thanks Mr Nitish Sinha, Mr Anmola Singh, Mr Mohamed Pervez, Mr Ashis,
Mr ATM Salim, Mr A.S. Murthy, and Mr Prakash Shah for all your kind words of appreciation and encouragement. We wish to add here that in between the songs, during the programme Shardajee spoke in depth about Rafi Saheb. One anectedote stands out,

  36. Prakash Shah says:

    Hashimji,

  37. Anmol Singh says:

Dear Narayanan, ATM Salim & Hussein,

    Thanks for the inputs.

  38. A S MURTY says:

Wonderful work Mr. Hashim Khan and Mrs. Ruhi Khan. Great work indeed of honouring one of the best artistes of a generation gone by and one who had worked at close quarters with Mohd. Rafi sahab in a number of good songs, aptly listed out by you. I was also very happy that you have earlier honoured other great artistes and musicians and have plans to do a lot more with the living legends like Dilip Kumar, Dev Anand, Shammi Kapoor and Jitendra etc. All the best for your endeavours and I am sure that having come thus far, you would go a long way in presenting to this new generation what they have been missing in the form of best music. Those who have contacts, particularly those of the Rafians from Mumbai and Delhi, should leave no stone unturned to help the Rafi Lovers Circle, Kolkata trying to organize such a thoughtful event. All Kudos and all the best. asmurty2@rediffmail.com

  39. Hussein Sheikh says:

    Dear Anmol,
The song mentioned by you is – accha hi hua dil toot gaya, accha hi kiya jo toone kiya, loonga/loongi na kabhi ab naam e wafaa….. This song is from the film Maa Bahen Aur Biwi, a “do pehlu” song sung by Rafi Saheb and Shardaji. The music of this film is composed by Shardaji herself. There are few non film songs’ music composed by Shardaji. rafian26@gmail.com

Sharda was lucky singing with Rafi Saheb. Her best duet is Jab bhi yeh Dil Udaas Hota Hai… from Seema is popular even today. She sang in Maa Bahen Aur Biwi as well beside providing the music of the film.

I am grateful to the entire team of mohdrafi.com for having included the event Remembering Shankar jaikishan with Sharda, which we presented recently in Kolkata. The endeavour of our Rafi Lovers Circle is to reveive the golden melodies of Rafi Saab by blending them in to various themes, each having a different hue and flavour. The Mohamed Rafi Memorial Award which we instituted in 2005, to coincide with Rafi Saab’s 25th Death Anniversary has also been conferred upon Music Director Ravi ( Yaad-E-Rafi, Shaam-E- Ravi – 2005 ), Music Director Omi ( Remembering Sonik Omi – 2006 ). Apart from this event, we also have a Down Memory Lane Series, where some of the legends of yesteryears, who have predominantly sung in the incomparable voice of Rafi Saab, have also been felicitated live on stage. So far we have been fortunate to present some of the best works of Rafi Saab with Late Pradeep Kumar, Shammi Kapoor, Dharmendra, Biswajit and Rishi Kapoor. Rishi Kapoor is on record at our show saying that indeed Rafi Saab was the finest and had he been alive today, he would probably be singing for Shahrukh Khan.

Our endeavour is to do a grand Down Memory Lane programme with Dilip Kumar, Dev Ananad, Shashi Kapoor, Joy Mukherjee, Jeetendra, Feroz Khan, Sanjay. In this regard we would appreciate if any Rafian who has a good relationship and approach with any of the above stars can help us in getting their consent. Any other suggestion will be whole heartedly welcome.

This is a great article, thanks Ruhi Khan Ji for sharing with us.

Would like ask a question to Rafi fans whether Shaarda Ji composed music also apart from singing.

Possibly there is one film fare nomination in 1974 for Rafi Saab from the film – Maa Biwi Bahan, the song “Acha Hi Hua Tera Khilona Took Gaya” is composed by Shaarda. Not very sure whether it is the same Singer Shaarda.

bahoot bahoot shukriya Hashimji & Ruhiji for remembering her..
sharda ji was really a very good singer as well as a good music director. she had sung some memorable solos and duets also. she would have survived in bollywood much longer had there been a fare competiton .some of her duet with rafi saab and mukesh je are amazing-
    jaan-e-chaman shola badan with rafi
aapki raay mere baare mein with rafi

duniya ki sair kar lo insaan ke dost mukesh
