what a voice
a masterpiece from the great man
for me he is a true legend
Beautiful music, makes me want to dance, and cry at the same time, Thank you Mohamed Rafi
Mohd Rafi is an immortal.
His golden voice is just irreplaceable.
One of my fovourite singer.
pls post the links
No one will touch the tomb of Mohd Rafi. Its a sacred place and
we will check it up. Please tell me your source, Sir.
Please note that there is no tomb : only sacred mud covered with
flowers at the site.
u may ask why ? the answer is : In death every one is equal in
islam. so there is no special treatment for anyone in Islam. Please
do not believe gossips.
secondly, we all rafi fans would make a fitting tomb covered with
gold and diamonds : but rules and rafi saabs will does not allow us.
I understand your feelings raajkumar ji… Please visit rafi saabs
resting place at juhu once.
Binu Nair the rafi foundation bombay.
Very very shockingly i have come to know that Rafi saab’s tomb at Juhu (Mumbai) has been removed from its original place. Sounds awkward, but can someone confirm this news ? I request all Mumbaikar Rafians to please write a line and relieve me.

Mr rajkumar akela.
your last sentence, ‘ May this madness in fans last for centuries and centuries !!! ‘ sounds pungent my dear friend.
if i put correctly it is not the ‘ madness ‘ but its the ‘ crave ‘ for rafi sahab. and definitely this will continue for generations so long people understand & realise what melody is………….
Mr hfzahmed,
THIs is not rafi sahib’s last song .rafi sahib’s last song was from the movie aas-paas he sang under the music direction of laxmikant-pyarelal and the song is-
“tu kahi aas pass hai dost”
the song about which u are talking about is i think sung by the singer shabbir kumar
thanx for the information but you should have posted pictures of rafi sahib and dharmender together than it wud have been an icing on the cake
Hi friends !
I came back to India after a couple of months’ musical tour of Bahrain. I saw there people requesting for Rafi Saab’s old songs like…
agar bewafa tujhko pahchan jate… (Raat Ke andhere Me)
paise ki pehchan…(pehchan)
tum to pyar ho… (Sehra)
aaja tujhko pukare mere geet…(Geet)
kahin ek masoom nazuk si…(Shankar Hussain) etc. etc.
I saw there Bangladeshi people crazy for Rafi Saab’s olden songs and a few Nazarul songs that Rafi Saab has sung in Bengali.
The charm seems to be never endind. It is the miracle of his divine voice. May this madness in fans last for centuries and centuries !!!

Due to You people only Rafi Saheb will be always remembered.

I don’t even know how to extent our thanks to you both and the all Rafi
fans.If we could only meet you both we will hug you and show our tears
of joy.We have learn a lot about the true legend. Also would you plz tell is
this song the last song of Rafisahib “Mohabat rang laygi magar hahista
hahista”.On this July we are planing a great program here in Chicago and
also on 1590 am radio to pay tribute to the King of Voice.
I don’t think that a lover will say Mere Dushman Tu Meri Dosti Ko Tarase but when it singed by mohd rafi it look great
Beautifully sung by Rafi Saaheb as usual. I bought a VCD of this movie just for this song when I was in India early last year.
Lovely song wherein Rafi Sahab skillfully playbacks for Dharamendra who reciprocates in the same way. keep it up . great job
